Overview
The hike through Cascade Springs is a relaxing stroll as you cross over a bubbling spring on a combination of paved trail and boardwalk. Located several miles south of Mt. Timpanogos, and at the base of Mill Canyon Peak, this area has some fantastic views of the surrounding area. The water surfacing from Cascade Springs once resided in limestone caverns deep within the earth, and now approximately seven and a half million gallons flow from these springs each day. There are restrooms at the upper and lower parking lots, and there are drinking fountains spread intermittently around the paths.

Trail Information
This walk is a nice paved trail, perfect for children and the elderly, as it loops through the gurgling, rushing springs. Most of the trail is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Although is one short staircase to climb, and a few areas of mild undulation, this is by no means a difficult hike. Along the path, you'll see signs that point out interesting facts about the geology, flora, and fauna of Cascade Springs. If you come early enough in the day, you may encounter any number of animal species like elk, badgers, squirrels, mule deer, beaver, porcupine, and a number of different bird species.
Because this is a family-friendly hike, and because the springs are so interesting, there are usually a lot of people who have come to experience Cascade Springs. Be prepared to see others on this hike.
